His Highness Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tariq Al Said,
the Deputy Prime Minister for Relations
and International Cooperation and the
Special Representative of His Majesty Sultan
Qaboos Bin Said, said that the Sultanate was
navigating in the right path despite some
challenges that required concerted efforts
and taking lessons from various successful
experiences.

“Oman has success opportunities of
infrastructure, natural and human recourses
and security and safety.”

He also mentioned that one of
the best experiences to be followed was the
Malaysian model led by the former Malaysian
Prime Minister Dr. Mahathir Mohammed.
During Duqm Third Society and Economy
Forum that hosted Dr. Mahathir Mohammed,
His Highness Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tariq Al Said
said that the elements between the Omani
and Malaysian experiences were different,
but the principles were the same based on
human first and then resource development.
