The wilayat of Haima
The wilayat of Haima is one of Al-Wusta Governorate provinces. It is bordered to the north by the wilayat of Adam in the Ad Dakhiliyah Governorate, and to the south by the wilayat of Muqshin in Dhofar Governorate. To the east, it is bordered by the Empty Quarter desert (Rub’ al Khali), and to the west, it is bordered by the Arabian Sea. It is about 541 km away from the city of Muscat, and this wilaya has adopted the Arabian Oryx as its emblem. It covers about 38 population centers
